Next, detach the side panels next to the rear seat so that the underlying electronic components can be completely disconnected, including the control module that operates the convertible top. Then, unscrew the bolts that secure the top to its mechanism so that it can be fully removed; finally, install the new top and reassemble the previously removed components.
