How to Change the Remote Battery for the Mercedes-Benz A-Class

Take the key and locate a small button on the back. Press this button while simultaneously sliding the black cover outward with your fingers.

Once the cover is removed, there is a slot on the side of the key that holds the battery. Remove the battery cover.

Pay attention to the type of battery and the orientation (positive "+" and negative "-"), take out the battery and replace it with a new one. Reinsert the battery slot into the key in the same direction, take the black cover again and slide it back onto the key.
