How to Reset the Service Light on a Mercedes-Benz C-Class

Detailed instructions - After performing an oil change and replacing the oil filter on your vehicle, you can proceed to clear the service indicator that is illuminated on the dashboard by following the instructions below and using the images from the video. Once you are seated in the driver's seat, turn on the ignition, and the service indicator will appear on the central display. Locate the menu button on the left side of the steering wheel controls, press the arrow to scroll through the functions in the menu, and select Service interval. Using the plus and minus buttons on the right side of the steering wheel, scroll through the options until you reach "confirm reset oil." At this point, press and hold the button located on the left side of the dashboard for at least 3 seconds, and the service indicator will be cleared.
