How to change the batteries in your Mercedes key fob (A-Class, but more or less all Mercedes key fobs work this way). The batteries are ECR2025, which vary in price from $5.30 to $11.30 each on major e-commerce platforms. The price varies depending on the brand. Open the top part of the back of the key, which is snap-on, and remove the two old batteries. Now, simply reposition the new ones, making sure to insert them in the correct orientation so they will work: the side with the engraved numbers should be facing up. Now you can close the back cover of the key fob. The job is complete.
