Let's see how to replace the battery in the Mercedes A-Class remote. Take your remote and slide the button to release the metal key; use a screwdriver to detach the clip inside the slot (where the key is stored).

When the cap detaches from the cover, remove the battery and replace it with a new one of the same size and voltage. Reattach the cap by pressing on the key remote until you hear it click into place.

Finally, insert the metal key back into the remote. Check the remote's functionality using the appropriate buttons.
