Mercedes Classe A - Video tutorial
Model: Mercedes Classe A
W177
- Years 2018-2024 The Mercedes A-Class has a secondary battery, which is located under the carpet on the passenger side, exactly under the glove compartment. By removing the upholstery - which is only laid down, there is nothing to cut - you will discover a compartment with a tab. By pressing that tab we will slide out a small 12V battery. 1.2 A code N000000004039. The auxiliary battery is a recent innovation, which is inserted mostly on BMW and Mercedes to help the car with Start and Stop to avoid malfunctioning of the latter if the owner battery is too stressed by normal use.
