How to Replace the Key Battery in a Mercedes GLA

The remote for the Mercedes GLA is not quite the same as those for other vehicles, so the procedure for replacing the battery is different. However, this is applicable for almost all Mercedes remote models from 2018 onwards. Looking at the back of the remote, you will see a small silver button that you need to press to slide off the casing that allows access to the internal battery. This is located in a small compartment on the side of the remote: slide it out of its housing and insert the new battery. Finally, close the remote.
