The remote control for the Mercedes Gla is not exactly the same as the ones for other cars, so the procedure for replacing the battery is also different. However, this procedure is valid for almost all Mercedes remote control models from 2018 onwards. Looking at the back of the remote control, we can see a small silver button that we need to press in order to remove the part of the casing that allows us to access the internal battery. This is located in a small compartment on the side of the remote control: we remove it from its housing and insert the new battery. Finally, we close the remote control.

In order to replace the auxiliary battery of the Land Rover Evoque, it is necessary to go inside the passenger compartment and remove the panel which is positioned immediately under the glovebox.
