Reset Air Conditioning Fault Memory

Model: Mercedes Classe C W202 - Years 1993-2000

If the automatic air conditioning does not respond perfectly to commands, you can check for any stored fault codes directly through the air conditioning control buttons and reset them. Set the temperature and fan to the minimum, turn off and turn back on, then press the REST button and the windshield defrost button simultaneously to enter the error code menu, which can be accessed using the AUTO button. Use the AUTO button to select the fault memory deletion command DEL and reset by pressing the temperature adjustment arrows simultaneously.
