If a device in your Mercedes M-Class suddenly stops working, the first thing to do is check the status of the respective fuses, the diagrams for which are shown in this video. As shown, the main fuse box is located inside the engine compartment, protected by the black cover next to the battery.

The second and final fuse box is found inside the cabin, beneath the front passenger mat. In case of a blown fuse, ensure you use a replacement with equivalent specifications to avoid causing any damage.
