Auxiliary batteries are typically installed in high-end models such as Mercedes, BMW, or Audi, to ensure the proper functioning of all electrical services. Here’s how to replace it in a Mercedes: remove the lower pillar on the passenger side, then take off the upper part of the cover under the glove compartment, as if accessing the fuse box. In a small compartment on the left, you will find a small black box. This is our auxiliary battery, which can be easily found on all e-commerce platforms and costs between £18 and £20.
