Camshaft Position Sensor Replacement

If the engine struggles to start, especially when hot, and the warning light comes on, begin by checking the trouble codes in the engine management control unit: the error P0341 refers to the camshaft position sensor. This sensor provides the control unit with information about the position of the camshaft and the valves, which determines the injection sequence needed to start the engine. It is clear that an incorrect signal from this sensor can prevent the engine from starting. The sensor is located on the side, under the valve cover, just behind the intake manifold: disconnect the connector and remove the mounting bolt to take it out. As a first attempt, you can try cleaning it before replacing it.
