Front Discs and Pads Replacement

Model: Mercedes Sprinter MK 1, W901 - Years 1995-2006
Part: Brake rotors

Lift the vehicle on a ramp and remove the front wheel; then disconnect the brake pad wear sensor and pry between the disc and the pads to slightly retract the piston; remove the protective caps from the caliper mounting bolts and unscrew them to remove the caliper, extract the old pads, and fully retract the piston; then proceed to remove the caliper support and the disc from the hub; clean the disc seat on the hub and the sliding area of the pads on the support to remove dirt residues and then apply grease; install the new disc after washing it to remove protective oil, the caliper support, and insert the new pads before refitting the caliper, lubricating the corresponding pins.
