Operation: Removing the front door panel.

Open the door and place a tripod under it to support it during work. Remove the wood trim stuck under the door opening mechanism. Remove the remaining wood finish where the electrical switches are located. Disconnect the electrical wires from it. Unscrew the bolt under the opening mechanism and the upper left screw inside the lower compartment. Unscrew the screw that secures the lock with the special tool. Carefully pry to remove the small ceiling light at the bottom right. Disconnect the wires. Unscrew the top right screw inside the bottom compartment on the panel. Using a small plastic crowbar, pry up the panel to disengage it from the door. Start from the bottom, then move to the sides and finally lift it upwards and thus detach it. Finally, disconnect the electrical wires that power the speakers, located near the speakers. The car on which the operation takes place is a Mercedes SL.
