To replace the door speakers in a Mercedes A-Class, disconnect the battery to avoid electrical issues. Start by removing the door panel: unscrew the hidden screws in the handle and along the edges, then carefully pry it off to release the clips holding it in place. Once the panel is removed, locate the speaker attached to the door frame. Disconnect the electrical connector from the speaker and unscrew the screws that hold it in position. Then remove the old speaker and place the new one in the same housing. Secure it with the screws and reconnect the electrical connector. Before reassembling the door panel, turn on the car radio to check that the speaker works properly. Finally, reattach the panel, ensuring all clips are securely fastened.
