In this video tutorial, you will see how to replace the glow plugs on a Mercedes Benz E-Class (W 210) diesel by following these steps: First, get inside the vehicle, turn off the engine, and engage the parking brake. Pull the lever to lift the hood and secure it with the prop rod. Use WD-40 spray to treat the glow plugs, then start the engine for a few minutes. Turn off the engine and use an 11 mm socket wrench to remove the fuel line fastening element. Disconnect the glow plug connectors and then use an air compressor to clean the glow plug seats. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the glow plugs from their seats, then remove the old glow plugs. Install the new glow plugs in their mounting seats. Apply a treatment product to the glow plug connectors and reconnect the fuel return line.
