In this video tutorial, we can see how it is possible to replace the glow plugs on a Mercedes Benz E-Class (W 210) diesel, following a few steps: the first thing to do is to get in the car, turn off the engine, and engage the handbrake; pull the lever to lift the hood and secure it with a proper rod. Use WD-40 spray to treat the glow plugs, then start the engine for a few minutes; turn off the engine and unscrew the fuel pipe fixing element with an 11 mm socket wrench. Disconnect the spark plug wires and then use a compressor to clean the spark plug seats. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the spark plugs from their seats, then remove the glow plugs. Install the new glow plugs in their mounting seats. Apply a treatment product to the spark plug connectors and connect the fuel return pipe.
