How to Reset the Service B1 Light on a Mercedes E-Class?

The Service B1 light that appears on the instrument cluster of the Mercedes E-Class can be reset by inserting the ignition key into the ignition switch and then turning on the instrument cluster with the appropriate button. At this point, using the buttons on the right side of the steering wheel, navigate through the menu on the instrument cluster: select "ASSYST PLUS" and then select "Service". To turn off the light, now select "Confirm service": this will allow you to return to the initial screen, noting that the light has been reset.
