Today, discover the procedure to remove and replace the gear shift knob of the Mercedes C-Class. First, get inside the vehicle and start by detaching the shift boot from the base of the lever; then, unscrew the shift knob and pull it upward to detach it along with the boot, as shown in the video. At this point, replace and install the new original shift knob, replacing the boot if necessary; install and secure everything onto the gear lever, ensuring there is no play between the knob and the gear lever!
