Removing the Shift Knob and Boot of the Mercedes C-Class

Follow these main steps to remove and replace the shift knob and boot of the Mercedes C-Class. First, get inside the vehicle and start by detaching the boot from the base of the shifter; then pull it upwards and firmly pull the shift knob off, removing it along with the boot, as shown in the video. At this point, install the new shift knob and boot, securing them properly; make sure there is no play between the shifter and the knob!
