How to Replace the Shift Knob on a Mercedes C-Class?

To replace the shift knob on a Mercedes C-Class, lift the leather boot covering the lever and detach the retaining clips located at its bottom. Once the boot is fully lifted, pull the shift knob upward at the junction between it and the boot. After removing the old knob, install the new one by securing it to the lever and reattaching the clips at the base of the boot. This will ensure that the installation is correct and does not cause any issues while driving.
