Operation: How do you replace the gear knob of the Mercedes C-Class?

The replacement of the gear knob on the Mercedes C-Class is done by lifting the leather cover that covers the lever, releasing the fixing clips located on its lower part: when the cover has been completely lifted, you can pull the knob upwards, in the junction between it and the cover. Once the old knob has been removed, it will be possible to insert the new one, fixing it to the lever and hooking the clips to the base of the cover. In this way, it will be possible to verify that the installation has been carried out correctly and that it does not cause problems while driving.

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
