Check Traction Control Fuse Integrity

Model: Mercedes Classe E W211 - Years 2002-2009

If the traction control warning light illuminates on the dashboard and the vehicle tends to enter recovery mode, there may be a fault with the ABS module or the related protection fuse may have blown; start by checking the integrity of the fuse: open the hood and locate the fuse box next to the left front fender (driver's side), just behind the strut tower, remove the cover and check the position of the fuse inside, pull it from its socket and inspect the filament integrity; if the fuse is fine, there may be a problem with the ABS module.
