First, disconnect the power supply from your car by removing the battery. This will help avoid the risk of electric shock. Then, turn the steering wheel about a quarter turn to the right; you will find a large screw at the back of the steering wheel: this is the screw that holds the steering wheel to the steering column. Once unscrewed, you can pull the steering wheel towards you.
