Replacing the poly-V belt on a Mercedes W124 is a very simple task, and with the help of this short video tutorial, you will learn how to do it independently and in just a few steps. First, open the bonnet and undo the tensioner bolt using a 16mm spanner. Using a lever, loosen the tensioner and remove the fixing bolt. At this point, remove the old belt and install the new one. Using a 3/8" extension bar, return the tensioner to its original position, tighten the fixing bolt, and run the engine for a few moments to check if the component has been installed correctly.
