How to Reset the Air Conditioner on a Mercedes E-Class?

On the Mercedes E-Class, to reset the air conditioner, connect a diagnostic tool to the vehicle's OBD port: this is located on the lower left side of the dashboard near the steering column. Once the scanner is connected, select the corresponding car model and version; at this point, follow the tutorial instructions to restore the air conditioner to its default settings. Finally, disconnect the scanner and turn on the air conditioner to ensure it is functioning.
