In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the diesel filter in a Mercedes Sprinter van, a very simple and quick operation. First, wait for the engine to cool down sufficiently, then open the bonnet, disconnect the intake manifold along with the various sensors, unscrew the indicated screws, and remove the air filter housing. Next, disconnect the turbo manifold, locate the fuel filter, and detach the upper pipes. At this point, simply unscrew the two securing bolts, extract the filter from its housing, and insert the replacement.
