Where is the battery located in the Mercedes SLK?

In this video, you can see where the battery is located in the Mercedes SLK, useful in case you need to replace it, which is a very simple and quick operation. As shown, the battery is positioned inside the engine bay, precisely beneath the black plastic cover located in front of the windscreen, on the driver's side. Before replacing it, ensure that the key is not inserted to operate safely, then open the bonnet, remove the cover, and starting from the negative terminal, disconnect both terminals. Finally, unscrew the nut of the fixing bracket, extract the battery, and install the replacement.
