Replacing the front control arm on a Mercedes 190, model W201, is very simple with our guide and the following video tutorial. Start the replacement by lifting the vehicle and removing the right front wheel. Continue by installing the spring compressor onto the coil spring. Once the compressor is installed, unscrew the fastening element that connects the ball joint to the control arm, allowing you to install a new one. After fitting the new control arm, as shown in the video, screw in the fastening elements that connect the ball joint to the arm. Finally, remove the support and install the wheels before lowering the car from the ramp.
