Replacing the front wishbone ball joint on the Mercedes 190 model W201 is a rather complex task that should only be carried out by skilled hands or an authorised mechanic. Follow this tutorial to understand how to perform this maintenance procedure.

Start by removing the right front wheel and then lift the vehicle. Continue with the replacement by compressing the spring using pins.

Next, remove the front fastening of the control arm. Clean the mounting seat of the ball joint and tighten the fastening element that connects the ball joint to the bar. Tighten the fastening elements on the brackets of the arm's bushes. Refit the wheel and lower the car.
