How to Reset the Automatic Gearbox of the Mercedes CLK?

To reset the automatic gearbox of the Mercedes CLK, insert the ignition key into the ignition switch to power up the instrument cluster. Once the cluster is on, press the accelerator pedal for about one minute without starting the engine. Then, turn the ignition key back to switch off the cluster. Wait a few minutes to allow the gearbox control unit to reset to its default settings.
