Installing the side steps on a Mercedes GLC is a straightforward task. First, if possible, lift the vehicle off the ground before starting the installation. Begin by removing the lower side cover of the vehicle by taking out the Torx screws. Once removed, continue by taking out the screws that secure the inner part, and with the doors open, pull it out from its position. Now, as shown in the video, install the side step. Secure the step using the previously removed Torx screws, as the step will replace the inner part that was removed earlier. Once all screws are installed, reattach the cover that was removed earlier. For the left side step, simply repeat the same procedure.
