In this video we will see how to check the level of coolant on a Mercedes car: first of all it is important to know that you should always open the cap of the coolant reservoir with the engine cold. This is because heat tends to increase pressure, and the liquid could "jump" out. Once opened, we will check the color, density and the level between the minimum and maximum, which is indicated on the tank. Check that there is no oil mixed with the coolant, as it could mean there is a leak inside the engine due to a faulty head gasket. If there is a little bit of coolant missing, add it, but it must be the same color as the one in the tank. If the level is very low there may be a leak, and it is advisable to check the entire cooling system of our vehicle.
