How to Top Up the Coolant in a Mercedes

The coolant, also known as antifreeze, is a mixture of water and ethylene glycol with special additives that helps maintain the engine temperature under control. When the coolant warning light comes on in your Mercedes, it means you need to top up the fluid and check the radiator. To perform the top-up, open the front bonnet and unscrew the cap of the reservoir. Pour the appropriate amount of fluid into the reservoir without exceeding the maximum line. After this operation, start the vehicle's engine and after a few minutes, add a little more fluid into the reservoir.
