This guide will show you how to disassemble the remote and replace the battery of the Mercedes C-Class key. First, take your remote and start by removing the battery tray by pulling it from the back of the remote; this allows you to take out the old battery and replace it with a new one (of the correct type and with the same designation), as shown in the video.

At this point, pry open the slot of the remote if you want to open it and possibly replace the key shell; then just reassemble everything!
