How do you change the battery in your Mercedes key fob? Let's see how to do it in this video. When the message KEY BATTERY LOW appears on the instrument cluster of your car, you need to replace the battery located in the key fob case. Take the ignition key and pull out the metal key from the fob housing. Insert a screwdriver into the slot, press in the right spot, and a click will open the plastic key cover. Remove the dead battery and insert the new one, then close the key fob with the cover, and finally, insert the metal key.
