How do you reset the engine light on the Mercedes S-Class?

In order to reset the engine light of the Mercedes S-Class, you need to connect a diagnostic tool to the OBD port of the vehicle, in order to identify the cause of the error. The OBD port will be located under the steering column and once the scanner is connected, you will need to select the model of the car in question and its corresponding version; when the connection is complete, you will be able to identify the problem causing the light to come on and resolve it. This way, you can clear the error from the control unit, noticing that the light will have disappeared completely.
