The following steps will show you how to remove and replace the starter motor on a Mercedes CLK. First, open the bonnet of the vehicle and disconnect the battery; then lift the vehicle and locate the starter motor, as shown in the video. At this point, unscrew all the fixing screws and disconnect the electrical connector to remove it and replace it with the new original one; reconnect the electrical connection and then test the operation of the starter motor and the engine start.
