How do we change the battery in the key fob of our Mercedes B-Class? Let's see in detail how to do it. Take your ignition remote and remove the metal key. Once the metal key is removed, insert it into the slot of the plastic remote and press inside. When you hear a click, it means the cover is open. Use a small screwdriver to remove the worn battery and take a new one of the same type, replacing it. Refit the cover on your remote by pressing on the key case until you hear it click into place. Check the key's proper functioning.
