This video is currently unavailable

If you puncture a tyre, or if it is flat, or if the electronic sensor inside it is broken, the warning light on the instrument cluster will alert you. First, check what has actually happened, then take action, and finally, once the vehicle is secure and the inflation pressure of all tyres is restored to the recommended parameters, reset the warning light.

The video explains how to do this: after turning on the instrument cluster, press the Tpms button, and when the reset request is displayed, confirm it.

How to reset the tyre pressure warning light on the Kia Niro EV?

To reset the tyre pressure warning light on the Kia Niro EV, inflate the tyres until they reach the correct pressure value. This value is indicated on the sticker attached to the driver's door pillar. Once the tyres are inflated, turn on the instrument cluster to check that the warning light has completely disappeared from the display. If it is still present, you may need to drive for a few miles to ensure it disappears completely from the screen.
