As we can see in this tutorial, replacing the remote battery for the MG Hector is a very simple and quick operation. For this, you will need a replacement battery of type CR2032 and a small flathead screwdriver.

First, press the side button and extract the emergency key, then, using the screwdriver if necessary, separate the two halves of the remote by prying in the newly opened slot. Once fully opened, remove the old battery and insert the replacement, making sure to respect the polarity.
