If the smart key of your MG Hector has suddenly stopped working, it is most likely time to replace the battery inside. Let's find out how to do it. First, remove the back cover with your hands and unscrew the two screws located underneath with a small Phillips screwdriver.

Once done, also remove the battery holder and proceed to replace the dead battery, ensuring full compatibility with the new one. Finally, reassemble the cover correctly, and you're done.
