How do you replace the windshield wipers on the Mini Countryman?

In order to replace the windshield wiper blades of the Mini Countryman, you need to lift the old blades so that they are no longer in contact with the windshield: once they are in this position, you can remove the clips that secure the old blade to its arm, and then insert the new one. Lift the vehicle on suitable axle stands, remove the front wheels, and then the front bumper and grille. Proceed to remove the front headlights; drain the coolant, remove the intercooler radiator and the hoses connecting it to the intake system.
