What does the triangle warning light with an exclamation point mean on a Mini Cooper?

Let's see what the mysterious yellow triangle-shaped warning light with an exclamation point in the center means, which can appear on the instrument panel of a Mini Cooper. It is not an immediate alarm, but a generic warning indicating the presence of a non-urgent message in the car's onboard system; it is like a notification on our phone that alerts us to check messages, but we have to open the app to do so. The main method is to press the "BC" (Body Computer) button on the left side of the turn signal lever; with short presses we scroll until we find "Check info", hold it down to enter the section and we will see the specific message. If the message is generic and we cannot understand the problem, we can obtain an error code by holding down the BC button for 10 seconds. A code starting with CCID followed by a number will appear, then we will look up the meaning on the internet. It is important to know that the car is still safe to drive and it is absolutely not necessary to panic about this warning light being on.
