Video tutorial

In the video, we see the diagram of the fuse boxes in the Mini Cooper R56, while in this box, we illustrate the location of the fuse boxes. The first box is on the right side of the footwell, in the side trim: on the passenger side for the guides on the left and on the driver’s side for the guides on the right.

In this box, we find 53 fuses and 13 relays. In the engine compartment, there is a second fuse box, located next to the left front shock absorber strut, in a rectangular black plastic container.

Here too, we have both fuses and relays. An additional fuse box, containing high amperage fuses, is located under the grille at the bottom of the windscreen.

Diesel models have an additional fuse box with 4 fuses and a relay.

How to Reset the EDC Light on a Mercedes Sprinter?

When the EDC light appears on the instrument cluster of a Mercedes Sprinter, it indicates a generic malfunction in the vehicle's injection system. To identify the source of the problem, a diagnosis must be performed at a workshop. This will help identify the damaged component, which will need to be replaced or repaired. Once the issue has been physically addressed, connect a diagnostic tool to the vehicle's OBD port located under the steering column. This will allow you to clear the errors in the ECU, turning off the EDC light.
