If during engine start-up you notice that the starter struggles to turn and the brightness of the warning lights on the instrument cluster decreases, it means the battery is damaged and no longer able to hold a charge. Replacing the battery is a straightforward DIY maintenance task, provided you dispose of the old one correctly.

The battery is located in the engine compartment, on the passenger side, just under the windscreen, protected by a plastic cover. Remove the cover, disconnect the terminals, and unscrew the fastening bolt of the support plate.

Extract the old battery and insert the new one, reversing the process for fastening and connection.
