Removing the door panel of a Mini

Model: Mini Mini Countryman1, R60 - Years 2010-2016
Part: Door trim panel

Removing the door panel of a Mini? Let's see the disassembly of the left door panel. We pry with a spatula around the frame of the door opening lever, then, we remove the part of the door panel. Immediately afterwards we unscrew the screws placed around the underlying panel with a screwdriver. Remove the panel from the door with a plastic or metal spatula and disconnect any power cables. As soon as the panel is free from the screws, let's pull it off with your hands. We mount the new panel together with all the screws and all the electrical terminals.

How to Adjust the Handbrake on VW Polo

If pulling the handbrake lever results in a long travel distance, significantly exceeding the usual 4 to 5 clicks, it means you need to adjust the travel to compensate for cable slack and wear on the shoes. This is a manual operation carried out using the adjustment nuts located at the base of the handbrake lever. Release and lift the plastic cover at the base of the lever to access the cables (one for each shoe) and their respective adjusters. First, loosen the lock nut and tighten the nut to pull the cable until the lever achieves a travel of 4 to 5 clicks.
