Is the Mini key battery flat? Let's see how to remove the car key and how to change the battery. We take our ignition key and go with the help of a screwdriver to pry between the two plastics until the rear plastic separates: we extract the discharged battery with a screwdriver and take a new one. We assemble the two parts of the remote control key covers until you hear the locking click of the same. We check the exact operation of the key remote control by testing the opening and closing buttons of the doors. We replace the discharged battery with one of the same size and voltage.
