Replacing the Mirror Cap on Mini Cooper

Model: Mini Mini R50, R52, R53 - Years: 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007

Remove the plastics located at the base of the exterior mirror and unscrew the two screws that secure it to the bodywork. Then disconnect the connector by pressing on both sides.

Done! As you can see, this is a really simple operation. For fitting the new mirror, proceed in reverse, connecting the connector and positioning the cap before screwing it in place.

If you only need to replace the mirror glass, simply lever it off from behind using a plastic wedge. In the video, before the mirror, you will also see how to remove the handle and the door panel.
