Model: Mini Mini
R50, R52, R53
- Years 2001-2007 In order to replace the reversing light switch on the Mini Cooper S, the hood must be raised to gain access to the engine compartment. The reversing light switch is located under the air filter, which will therefore need to be removed. To remove it, it will be necessary to loosen the two bolts which are located in correspondence with the left front headlight and which have the function of fixing the filter. Once removed, it will be possible to have access to the switch, from which it will be necessary to disconnect the connector. Once disconnected, it will be necessary to extract the switch, using a socket wrench and replace it with a new spare part.
