In this video, we will discover the procedure to remove and replace the thermostat on the first series Mini Cooper R50. First, drain the coolant; to do this, disconnect the hose found under the vehicle. Next, open the bonnet and remove the battery and battery tray by unscrewing the screws and taking out the side control unit; now disconnect the electrical connector from the thermostat and unscrew its screws to remove it, as shown in the video.

Finally, replace it with the new one!
