Model: Mini Mini
R50, R52, R53
- Years 2001-2007 We see in this guide the instructions necessary to remove and replace the thermostat of the Mini Cooper, with 1.6 petrol engine. First we open the engine hood of our car and start removing the plastic battery cover; we also remove the battery later, disconnecting both terminals (positive and negative pole). At this point we disconnect the coolant tube, letting it drain into a container; now we unscrew the screw of our thermostat to remove it, thus installing the new original one, following the video tutorial until the end!
