How do you replace the timing chain on the Mini Cooper S?

Model: Mini Mini R56, R57, R55 - Years 2007-2014
Part: Timing belt

In order to replace the Mini Cooper S timing chain, you need to open the hood to access the engine compartment and remove the plastic cover from the top of the engine. Once the cover has been removed, the bolts that secure the engine head can be loosened and therefore also those that secure the side cover. In this way, it will be possible to have access to the sprockets, in particular it will be necessary to loosen the central pin of the chain tensioner. By doing so, it will be possible to reduce the tension of the chain and replace it with a new one, installing all the components previously removed.

How to Replace the Engine Air Filter on a Peugeot Partner

The engine air filter for this car model is located at the rear of the engine bay, directly under the windscreen, in a central position: to access the filter housing, first remove the brake fluid reservoir; then you can unscrew the three front screws that secure the filter container cover, release the side latch, and complete the removal of the cover; then extract the old filter, remove any dirt residue, ensuring no impurities enter the intake, install the new filter ensuring the seal fits perfectly against the edges of the box, and refit the cover and brake fluid reservoir.
